FLC is inviting players and families to form a team for the annual Lacrosse Together Cup on Sunday 20 October at PJ Lynch Reserve, Altona North.
This is a social round robin event designed to celebrate diversity and inclusivity in lacrosse and make a stand against homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and intersex discrimination in our sport. The day is filled with lots of activities for people of all ages including facepainting, a free Come & Try lacrosse session, fun outdoor games, music, food, ice cream truck, and lots of lacrosse games.
TIME: 10am to 2:30pm
FORMAT: It’s a 3v3 format and there are four different divisions – family, experienced, intermediate and novice.
In previous years we’ve had a mix of parents, children and players combine to have great fun on the day.
There’s no cost to players (the club pays the entry fee).
RSVP by this Thursday 10 October. Please comment on this post or email
communications@footscraylacrosseclub.com.au if you’re interested.
TEAM ORGANISER: We also need a team organiser to pass on information from LV to the team members before the event, and guide the team throughout the day. No playing experience is required! If you can help with this, please contact Brigitte at communications@footscraylacrosseclub.com.au.
